Amanda Bynes arrested for DUI in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Former actress Amanda Bynes was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of driving while under the influence of a drug, authorities said Monday. Wal-Mart: Morgan wasn’t wearing seatbelt in crash

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Actor-comedian Tracy Morgan and other people in a limousine struck from behind by a Wal-Mart truck on a highway in June are at least partly to blame for their injuries because they weren't wearing seatbelts, the company said in a court filing Monday. Box office top 20: ‘Equalizer’ debuts with $34.1M

NEW YORK (AP) -- Denzel Washington scored his third-best opening weekend and potentially spawned his first franchise with a $34.1 million debut for "The Equalizer." The Columbia Pictures release, in which Washington stars as a retired commando lured into a battle with the Russian mafia, is Washington's second film with "Training Day" director Antoine Fuqua. Crew makes 1,126-pound bowl of Hawaii rice dish

HONOLULU (AP) -- A group is claiming a world record for a popular Hawaii dish, after putting together a massive bowl of rice, hamburger, eggs and gravy. Chef Hideaki Miyoshi of Tokkuri Tei restaurant and volunteers at Sunday's Fifth Annual Rice Festival assembled a bowl of loco moco that weighed 1,126 pounds. Oregon cops: Suspect drove fast, had strong smell

LEBANON, Ore. (AP) -- Officers in western Oregon say a suspect they tried to collar at a traffic stop drove too fast for pursuing officers, but eventually he was just too fragrant. DENVER (AP) -- The mug shot of a man captured after trying to flee a bank robbery in Denver shows him flashing a broad, toothy grin. The photo was taken after 45-year-old Michael Whitington's Sept. 23 arrest. Police say he robbed a bank on Denver's 16th Street pedestrian mall and then tried to get away on a light-rail train.
