Jerry Garcia’s guitar heads to auction, could fetch $1M

NEW YORK (AP) -- A guitar that Jerry Garcia played everywhere from San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom to Egypt's Great Pyramids is headed to auction on Wednesday night. The Grateful Dead frontman's guitar - named Wolf - will be offered at the Brooklyn Bowl, a bowling alley, restaurant and music venue. German court denies mother access to dead daughter’s FB data

BERLIN (AP) -- A Berlin court has denied a mother access to her deceased daughter's Facebook data, ruling German privacy laws outweigh her parental rights. The mother sued for access to her daughter's Facebook account after the 15-year-old died after being hit by a subway train in 2012 to try and determine if it was an accident or if she took her own life. Carriage horse breaks free, runs through rush hour traffic

NEW YORK (AP) -- A New York City carriage horse is safely back in its stable after breaking free and running wild through rush hour traffic. The horse, a 12-year-old mare named Goldie, broke free on Tuesday while being taken back to her stable in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- Scientists continue to track Twitter's favorite great white shark as it swims near the coast of New Jersey. The shark is known as Mary Lee and showed up in waters near Atlantic City on Wednesday morning. She was detected off the coast of Cape May with a male great white named Cisco on Saturday.
